KINDER VIOLIN
Excited to get your kindergartner jump-started in the Lanai Orchestra program? This is the PERFECT class option for you! Designed to get your child’s feet wet in a developmentally appropriate way, Kinder Violin is a 7 month group class that focuses on establishing proper playing technique, introduces note-reading and ear-training, and gets students playing simple exercises and songs – all in a warm, supportive environment! This class scaffolds beautifully up to the Cubs Violin class and is an excellent first step in your child’s musical journey at Lanai. So don’t wait – sign your child up today!

THE LIONS ORCHESTRA
(1st-5th Grades)
Do you have a 1st-5th grader who is eager to learn an instrument? Are you looking for something that will be substantive AND fun? If so, The Lions Orchestra is a WONDERFUL class option for you! Combining foundational elements like note-reading, ear-training, music theory, and proper playing technique with a contemporary approach that includes both classical and modern repertoire, The Lions Orchestra class is an excellent introduction to the violin and to ensemble work – led by a warm, supportive teacher. Its focus on establishing good study skills, focus, and self-discipline is an added bonus! By the end of the 7 month session, Orchestra students will be able to play simple exercises and songs! This 7 month class is a beautiful introduction to stringed instruments and is an excellent way to start your child’s musical journey at Lanai. So don’t wait – sign your child up today!
